Vision:

To reclaim the sanctity of human life created in the image of Almighty God.

Mission:

California Nurses for Ethical Standards (CNES) is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization founded:

  • to advocate for the most fundamental unalienable right to life from conception to natural death.
  • to promote the application of ethical standards (as defined in the Holy Scriptures) and to stand as guardians for the right to remain true to our conscience.

What we do:

California Nurses for Ethical Standards provides a forum for healthcare providers to disseminate educational and cutting edge research information.

  • To these ends, CNES publishes newsletters, which inform our membership of legal developments and trends in healthcare ethics and offers articles of interest.
  • CNES has co-sponsored Bioethical Conferences at Biola University; a five-day course on Medical Ethics, participates in community outreach and seeks opportunities in High School classrooms for a medically based presentation on Sexual Health.
  • We pursue to advertise the existence of our organization and seek to expand our membership by giving life advocates/healthcare providers, who share Biblical values a vehicle to have their voices heard.
  • We produce and print educational material on abortion, end of life care, POLST and other ethical issues.
  • We facilitate placement of volunteers in Life Centers and Pregnancy Clinics whenever possible.
  • We encourage greater participation of healthcare providers in ProLife ministries.
  • CNES offers mentoring opportunities for ProLife students. We encourage and participate in activities as the Walk for Life Westcoast in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

As CNES grows so will our influence in the healthcare profession and local communities. We encourage all to Join Us in restoring respect for the Right-to-Life by being a Voice for the Voiceless.
